Meet Our Staff

Sue completed her nursing degree from the OHSU School of Nursing in 1975 and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management in 2001 from the University of Phoenix. Sue’s background includes more than three decades of focus in pediatric well child, women’s health, community education, occupational health services, management, faith community nursing, community outreach and collaboration.

Since leaving hospital management in January 2012 Sue has been furthering her work and service in Faith Community Nursing and community outreach. Also working in positions of interim executive director for non-profit organizations and serving on the Board of Directors for Faith Community Nursing/Health Ministries Northwest (FCN/HMNW), Board of Trustees for Vancouver Church of God, Lead Educator for FCN/HMNW and Coordinator for Faith Community Nurses in Clark County. In 2013 she joined Battle Ground Health Care as Deputy Executive Director.

Sue and her husband Lloyd enjoy outdoor activities for all seasons, including snow and water skiing, biking, hiking and swimming. They have four adult children and two grandchildren. Sue personally enjoys cooking and entertaining.

Sue is dedicated and passionate about working with individuals and groups of people in facilitating a positive environment through teamwork and collaboration. She strives to assist individuals and organizations in developing a healthy lifestyle through wholistic healthcare which focuses on mind, body, and spirit. Healthy people equate to healthy communities.

Sue has a strong commitment to community and a history of service and dedication to the vision of building a healthier community.
